Well, lately I have been looking around the forums, and finding many sad things to do with animals (e.g. someone greifing in and killing all the animals). So far, the biggest problem is this: http://www.opticraft.net/index.php/topic,10267.0.html

So, if you read that, they had to do /butcher, which unfortunately resets (or kills) all the animals on the server, and some people have animal farms...so I came up with a potential fixes 

We have Animal Ps, you plant them in the ground near where your animals are, and then it protects your animals and no-one can kill them. BUT before placing them you must:
a. Buy it from the market (it would be very expensive)
b. Contact a Mod+ to decide if its a good place to place it (it won't let you place the APS if you don't to this)

Yeah it would be hard to develop a plugin who does that. Anyway i like the idea.

There are no plugins that are able to do that. Although there are other prior things that are important than this, such as the server assets being set up for the Member + world.

Now I really don't know how server plugins work, so I have no idea whether this is a good idea or a bad one. I'm just throwing this out there.

Maybe fences could be modified so that when you make a complete rectangular shape with fences, all the animals inside that perimeter would be protected. It would kinda be like a mini protection zone, but for mobs.

That idea would work too but won't it cause some problems?

I have another idea,

I know that there are no plugins which protects mobs but there can be some type of protection stone which will block any entrance with a glass cube around it and this glass cube will be unpenetrable. The owner and the allowed players for this ps will not see the glass cube and they will enter and move freely.

/butcher only kills aggressive mobs.

Well, the reason I said that is because the Mods can deside if it is a good idea to place it there, otherwise you might protect animals that aren't yours.

Sounds Good. But you can only kill their pets if they are standing. Still no one touch my doggies
