Opticraft Community

Although i have made many friends on this amazing server i am really mad and need some time away. I am currently trying to create a one hit mob spawner which requires a lot of water to be places in a specific way. I am some what furious seeinging as i have spent about a month workingon this for it to come crashing down so quick. Although bantam was very helpful it is very hard to explain how to place water for a mob trap. I just need some time to calm down so i dont blow up on the very helpful mods over something that isnt that big of a deal. I really wish i culd place water as i could build this project and have it as another way to help other players. My store will be closed and so will all statue projects i am working on currently will be halted. (noptic i finished yours).
I resepct all of opticrafts staff and will always love this server but at the moment i am very furious about the fact that a month of hard work has now been flushed down the toilet.
I hope to return to opticraft in a week or so and try again with the spawner. If someone who can place water and know how to make a one hit mob trap can help please tell me. Since it is hard to tell someone who has no clue how to place water n the complicated way needed for a mob trap.
Thank you bantam for your efforts with the trap, i am not mad at you and thank you for your efforts, i am mostly mad at the rule that you cant place water. (kinda silly) but it has been a problem for a while with me and i need to take some time away and go to the other server i play.

Imagine this: Someone placed water on say, someones torches, or rails. Instead of having to actually break them, those rails/torches will just float away, leaving grief. Unfortunately, we cant repair it when that happens. Sure, we can undo the water, but the blocks that were effected by the water will stay the same. I think thats the main reason why you cant use it. Also, talk to Jewnier about your spawner, he's pretty good with them.

Yeah you can. I've fixed it before /lb undo player waterflow area 20 since 10d. It works

i fully understand why u won't allow us to place water, but i also think it is sad that there is not a way to show u can have the privilage of it, i know trusted can do it, but being trusted also comes with a lot of responsiblility and is hard to get it seems

I know its hard to make a trap. I have helped one guy in the past to make the tunnel for the mobs to go up and later on to drop.
I dont know exactly the height, but I have seen this spawner.
Ask continously for water frm mobs, so they will arrange your promotion just to get rid of you..
Its a way, but I dont know how beneficial it is..

It's not complicated at all. Before I got trusted, I built a mob spawn trap with water forcing them down a tunnel and a water elevator going up. The mod that helped me had never had experience in any spawners. It's not hard to explain and place a block where u need water... I actually felt bad I had to have him place it about 14 times in between signs for the elevator. Did he complain? No. He actually admitted he had no experience in it and I showed him how it worked.

I think you may be over thinking you're trap. Check the YouTube user KaspersMC for great mob farms with blueprints and all. It'll help.
