Hey guys its Smash, and im just wondering do you think trusted could be able to place fire? because when mods aren't online many people need portals lit and stuff like that, and also just wondering, im not expecting this to happen because "duh its fire!" so thanks guys.

This is not going to happen.

We have even banned trusted players for griefing by filling people's home with waters, so I can't imagine what they would do with fire.

Valid suggestion, but as Salas said there is no telling what people might do.

This will not happen, it is not because we dont trust our trusted users, it is more because accidents happen and we would like to avoid those.

If a player asks for fire to be placed on one block in the middle of a house, the Trusted players have no idea if it's their house or not. So the trusted end up getting blamed for griefing.

1) The trusted players can identify if the player who asks, is his home. Just ask him to open all the doors.
2) I believe that fire should be given to trusted. If you have issue with banning players who are trusted, then dotn trust them.
Its very simple. Let them stay member 2-3-4 months. I dont care.
If they do a mistake and they report it, then it's not grief. It is honest mistake. That's why there is the reversable system, for repairing damages, grief, mistakes.

Another level of trusted should be added (Another trusted rank)
Which allows them to use both lava and fire.

That seems like so much for just 2 extra features.

Add a temp mod ability and it's perfect.

GREAT idea! Let's call it "Cool." This way we won't have people running around asking how they can become Trusted.

Instead, they will ask how they can become Cool.

This is turning into a ranks argument just like in the Classic server. Adding more ranks based on one rank is just messy and not necessary. It makes things even more complicated and that's not what we are looking for as of right now.

Ok thanks guys just wanted an awnser
