I think along with the market there should be a trade center, some place where everyone could go to get trade and sell anything they have. I made an attempt to build a pretty mediocre one but It didn really even catch on escpecially since I don't have many connections. Just a thought though.

Trading can really be done where ever the players feel. Heck, it can even be done underwater!
Not a bad idea but I don't think we need an entire center just for trading.

yeah, i agree, but on the other hand, that would be a good idea

Start a personal private shop.

i did start a private one but i dont have the money for a protection stone and it keeps getting destroyed, its on the island at the end of the spawn path, its pretty small but yeah like i said not alotta money. i just think a place where people knew they could find other people to trade is a good idea.

also id like to build one of the water/piston trade stations where people cant steal stuff, but i  need more resourses plus i dont think you can use water.

Woah your the mod from today ha.
The trade center is in progress I've got most of the stuff in a chest I just need two iron doors, glass, and 4 pistons, which I think I have the stuff to craft laying round somewhere. But you helped a lot! Thanks

This guy is making the same basic design as me I think.

Why not add Iconomy?

i agree with this as trading lots of things like diamonds can be really unsafe if other people are nearby and also people could easily scam others. i would suggest a room with an iron door that opens by a lever. you cannot warp or use /home in this room. this prevents scams and people stealing the stuff you're trading.

The one I'm making makes it so both players have to get the items they want unless a player cancles then both players get the items back, also both players must flip an accept switch before either player gets an item, doors lock behind them.

its not working

Why not just add Iconomy?
It basically means you put the item in a box, put a sign above it  (The same way you buy items from signs in the market)
but you actually have to have the items in the box, you put a X stacks per X money for X item

It's not that hard, I'd be willing to build a massive trade district, and a person would have to buy a shop from the mods to sell their items in...

But I'm trying to build an items only safe trade system, I have two new blueprints tat might work, but idk when i'll get to them, should be by next week.
