I am fairly new here and to Minecraft itself. The biggest problem i have with the game is trying to follow conversations without missing every other thing the person says.

I tried out one server (I like Opti better) and they had a party system that i thought was great. You create a party (random name) then you can invite people to that party. If you were to type /p then it puts you in your party channel and anything you say is in the party chat. The big plus that i found was that peoples names turned GREEN when they were in your party so it makes the conversation much easier to follow.

I think this is a great feature because it allows us to play together much easier which in turn creates a stronger community.

Please let me hear your thoughts.

Its like a good idea, but when the players are too many, still there will be a problem, with colours or not.
You dont have to follow everything, but just the pms.

Well it would also reduce the amount of global chatter which would help with everyones chat.

When you type /p to put you in party chat then all your messages after that are only to your party, and no one else sees it... until you type /g for global chat again. When you are in party chat you will still see the global chat but your party is more noticeable when they chat due to the green.

Maybe instead of allowing any player to create a party, just have about 5 - 10 channels that users can connect to.
This would stop people from abusing the plugin by creating loads of channels.
But this way it will still reduce the amount of global chatter.

Mr if you don't stop posting all these stupid facepalms EVERYWHERE on the forums, i am just going to start deleting them all.
