SOPA Started attacking and now megaupload is shutten down D:
After that facebook will be closed and same with youtube D:
Most of us cant live without facebook and youtube

The worst is that they will close thepiratebay's domain too
But they will change their domain.
But megaupload was the best file sharing site, now we lost it.
So that means they will close mediafire/4shared/uppit???

Umm... Megaupload was shut down because of its massive amounts of copyright infringements. I see no article of facebook or youtube being targeted, nor do I see that SOPA has taken effect as of yet...

Omaroo, it would really help if you were to actually  read what happened. If all sopa would do is shut down sites like megaupload, i would be for it.

Why do the Feds even need sopa if they already go and do shit like this?

This is an extreme case where the owners can be tied to the illegal content. Most of the time, the illegal content is uploaded by random users and extremely hard to track. They want SOPA so they can shut down those sites even though the owners themselves are not doing anything illegal. In this case they caught the owners doing something illegal (allegedly).

Megaupload sucked anyways.

SOPA has not started yet. It has not been voted. megaupload was closed under some other copyright laws and acts.

Mega upload was to do with SOPA, if SOPA wasnt mentioned, then mega upload would not have been


And by the way, the hacking group anonymous has confirmed 6000 + computers running DDoS client attacks on US.gov sites, like whitehouse .gov
and justice.gov and fbi.gov , and universal studios. most of which are still down, i like seeing people strike back
