We may add chest shops at a later date, which would solve the trade issue.

Will the IP address change or will it stay the same for the survival server?

I'm pretty sure itll stay the same.

The Ip's gonna be smp.opticraft.net.

It will be the same. Though official we'll use smp.opticraft.net, beta.opticraft.net will work as well

What other plugins are you going to use? Are you keeping the plugin preventing explosive damage to terrain?

iConomy added? is used for ingame money
Showcase added? Showcase is used for shops, cool ones like item on a slab and when you left click the slab you get a buy assistant telling you the buy price etc... I find it helpful and cool (It's video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCOwtReQoDQ&feature=player_embedded)

You can have two shop plugins chestshop/signshops and showcase
Chestshop/signshop is not soo good I tried it and it is boring and complicated for others but showcase is much easier and shows you a virtual item on a slab to know what you are buying.

i have seen a mod where you can showcase multiple items on a stair block...maybe you could use this instead of the slab? as it allows more items on it. heres a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bImkVIkVtk0&feature=related

This is a sinlge player mod not a server plugin, so it would not work in the server as it is a new block by the looks of it (unless everyone has the mod). We are not necessarily using the slabs either, it is another suggestion.
