Are you f**king kidding me? So murder is only illegal if you get caught? And yes, infact, they do care, it provides a way to get minecraft without paying, and it is against the law. It is also against forum rules to post illegal content.

Mojang copyrighted all their minecraft versions.

But people have to upgrade there account to use it anyway so technicly there not losing any money

OMG can everyone please just kindly shut up about this. I'm sorry for trying to help people, if I knew you were all going to have a little fight over this I would have never posted. btw its not MY .jar file, I NEVER uploaded it for download. Heres the thing, how on Earth is Notch going to track down thousands of people that downgrade .jars by downloading them off the internet, simple...HES NOT. Lets say someone downloaded the 1.0.0 .jar from the internet, but they havnt bought the game, then how on earth are they going to download the Minecraft Client to use it? When you download Minecraft it doesnt only install the .jar file, it downloads a whole bunch of other files like: 'resources' 'saves' 'screenshots' 'stats' 'texturepacks' etc. So unless someone was clever enough to download ALL those files, and somehow donwload the client for Minecraft, we have nothing to worry about. I hope you are all smart enough not to keep posting on this topic, because i think this about sums it up.

On topic: I've been playing Tribes: Ascend closed beta, I am really liking it.

I have been building on 1.8.1 server still, and building my French squad on Fifa 12 Ultimate Team ( I'll make a topic about It at some point ).
