While playing beta today, i joined a server with a gigantic desert biome which was noone living in it, but me...
I realized how much people love making pyramids and figured it wouud be a cool idea to make a world devoted to the Desert.

It can include

- Giant Pyramids
- Oasises (or is it oasi?)
- Dunes
- A Hugenormous Palace (Im talking HUGE)
- A delta (like the Nile Delta in Egypt)
- A Sun (with a 96 block radius.) If possible
- A Sphinx ( thx omar)
Let me know if you are interested.

There is not much to do in a desert world. So sorry i am against this.

Pff, I am past both the admins, and nearing Optical now Check it out on the stats page.

Anyway, although I don't really see this happening, its sort of a nice idea. As I said before on a Lobbey suggestion, what about making a world of the (Howerver many) Minecraft Biomes, just in classic?

i dont support this idea, the whole world look very bland. not to mention its all just sand, and everything there is made of sand :/ . stone buildings may throw off the idea of "desert".

Ya, not much can be done.

I might throw in a desert map someday. Guess you'll have to wait and see!

i bet no one can build the sphinx, even i cant

edit:- it was made out of sand cuz at these times no one discovered building materials but it was creative that they made structures out of sand.
i bet that no one ever knew how to build sand structures except for Greece and Egypt.

a sphinx with a head of a creeper lolz i saw that too but i mean the real one

hmmmm if there is a desert biome world to build in. perhaps the walls could have a coating of sand. and far underground there can be stone. or minerals?
