well ps3 is good but pc is way better just get a gaming computer and u can play anything u want , ps3 is good as i said but those hackers who hacks into playstation network causes sony to close psn for a while to fix what hackers did (1 month or 2) so thats annoying cuz u cant play online....
but pc lives more and u can upgrade its graphics and all games are playable on pc so i prefer pc...

But why would you since computer monitors can go beyond 1080p.
