It also wouldn't hurt to re-educate our existing members on the importance of voting. Not just clicking the buttons and closing the new windows/tabs but actually filling out the captchas and clicking 'vote'.

heck even a new banner would be good - if we can get a decent one.

9 pages of submissions but no decent ones?

Nope

So basically all those people wasted their time.  There are some decent ones, come on (:

None I've seen, to be honest

Says the man who made a banner with the crosshair still visible

I just went through all of the submitted banners, there is nothing that really stands out while looking professional. Many are just text-on-picture,  irrelevant patterns, generic looking fonts or trying to fit too much colour or pictures on one small banner. If I'm honest, the only one that really looked nice to me (font, colours and proportionally) is DK's;

There was obviously some inspiration taken from That1Gie, but with my own touches to it.
My teachers always said I made very 'elegant' designs, so here I go =p

(Adobe InDesign ftw!)

But even that might not really show us as a Minecraft server. I'd agree that we still need some that have spent more than 15 mins on them.

There are a few relatively decent ones, but as Tobs said, most are just extremely basic and don't look like the authors have put  much more then an hour of work into them at most. I am sure there are a few ones in there which are nearly good enough.

Will the new voting allow people who donated for /homes to still use /homes without voting?
