Which is better ps3 or Xbox 360?

Xbox s way better

Xbox but when the Xbox 720and PS4 come out I'm afraid ill have to change sides as the PS4 will be a better, faster console with more ram, a quad core processor and will look way sexier.

Actually the PS3 has an 8 core cell processor running at 1.6gHz (if I recall the frequency specs correctly, but I know the 8 core part is correct). 6 of those 8 cores can be used for another operating system if you decide to install another os on there (supported by the ps3). I guess the other 2 can only work with the PS3 os.

Then there's the 360 with a Tricore CPU of which I forget the model and frequency specs of.

Trust me when I say the PS3 trumps the Xbox360 in hardware.

But wii is shit. Computers are better than consoles, thats why the new designs are supposed to be computer like

The graphics on a PC are way better than any other current console in my opinion and most of the major games are available on steam so i have no idea why you are comparing it to the wii.

You don't have an opinion here unless you've owned and played both for a long time.
I've had both since they were both released and I can honestly say I have no 'favourite'.

They both serve their purpose very well, but here's the differences in my opinion:

PS3: More for entertainment over gaming. Obviously the online experience is not as talked about as xbox live is, but blueray and what not is a fairly good alternative.

xbox 360: More for gaming over entertainment. xbox live is more dominant over the playstation network, and there's a heck of a lot more features for the online experience.

As for hardware, (controllers, looks etc) I don't judge things off appearance, as long as they both serve their purpose.

I completely agree with deekay on this one.  They have there pros and cons.  Although I do prefer Xbox 360, for texting controllers, gaming experiences and other stuff.

I have both, as well, and I have to say... PS3.

It just does more and it does it well. There is nothing that the XBOX does that the PS can't (other than certain games).

Both are equally terrible. I vote PC.

Having got a PS3, I of course vote...

No, I haven't used it in ages, PC is better for me in every way.
