Never seen or heard of a single one of these blocks. Wtf is this?
I take it someone hasn't been keeping themselves up-to-date with the recent snapshots

I have been waiting for this block for as long as i have played Minecraft. I love to build with stone but after making the stone building the "stone slabs" throw off the hole look or they take the attention away from what you are trying to show. I think a real Half stone piece would be fantastic to build with i really hope this is implemented.
