Opticraft Community

So, I've been a member of Opticraft since March of 2012, I didn't make any posts, but still I helped a lot of people, and I've just wondered do you think I should get a promotion? Anyway, I've done a lot of new stuff recently, trying to get a new house and sell my other, but I don't know how to delete my previous home warp. Been kinda bored recently too..I don't like that protection stones cost cash, but that's for suggestions I guess.  Well, anyway if anyone needs any help I'll be there.

I know it's tough to get trusted for some people, especially the quite ones, but recently, there has been a change in tide as now Operators are beginning to find those shy players. It use to be to make yourself known to staff, but it wasn't very fair.

And I'll just slide this in here..

1.This is the most important rule of all:
Do Not Ask for This Rank. Doing this will only lower your chances of getting Trusted.

Jax, you don't ask for ranks, you earn them.

Wasn't trying to ask for one..See at the server I used to play at, all you had to was get a certain amount of votes/posts and you could apply. I thought that was how this one worked as well, sorry. I do know that rule, and I NEVER ask for ranks, it's one of the most common rules.

Ah right, You see on this server you pretty much have to be trusted by a Admin and/or a Operator.

To get promoted, i just made a get together thiing, made like 10 friends there, talked to them in global rather than msg, worked my way into other friend circles, and bam.

It doesn't really benefit us much if we have specific promotion guidelines to follow concerning the rank of Trusted. It isn't necessarily a cookie-cutter rank. We'd like to have to have as little bias as possible, even if it means having ops promote sooner than others.

For example, I've been really picky with the selections of people as of late, because we've had quite a few people, recently, who had earned our trust and turned into complete sour eggs thereafter.

That makes sense. Totally off topic, but, I've been Vetern, Admin, and Moderator on other servers. (I'm not a bad egg )

What Xeadin just said, Doesn't matter if your new, or a really old member of opticraft, or even a builder / Crafter / Operator on the classic server.

Jax don't tell people. Show people that you are a trustable person. "Actions speak louder than words".

I most certainly plan on doing so, just showing that I have previous experience with responsibility. It's hard to, no one ever needs help, I ask quite often too..

Our server has way different guidelines and it does take time earning those ranks, there is no need for the bragging.

Got it.
