Yeah sorry to get offtopic but since it looks like this is going to happen can someone post a list of the color codes for those that don't know.

It shouldn't be hard for users to google "Minecraft Color Codes", I mean, we're not their mothers.

This would also be a great way to lock /homes as there have been requests for that in the past. For those who don't know if you put the section symbol and random characters that you write down only you can access that home as seen with 2crzy's past /homes

I like it! I'm a co owner on a bukkit server so I'm used to
color codes

This should be it.

Edit: Whoa! Post explosion!

Essentials.signs.color is the permission node for colored signs. There would have to be some limits to this idea, but other than that I think it is a great idea. If optical thinks its too crazy, maybe just give it to Members or Trusteds.

I was just about to suggest this for Trusted, maybe it should be trusted only?

Wow Liek I wish I thought that! Yes agreed trusted+!!

Why only trusted? People can grief and kill with water. Someone can't do that with a colored sign.

That's not allowed I had to remove mine. And also LIEK, that will encourage people to beg for trusted and also what harm can they do?

OMG CURSE OF THE COLOURED SIGN

There remains one problem. Im not sure if we are still using essentials for the colored signs, i'll have to check with optical.

Signs are our own code, and the permission is opticraft.signs.colour. I am not fussed about this, so decide amongst Nyssa & Relkeb and go for it.

Sooooo if Nyssa and Relkeb agree then we will have colored signs? I didn't quite understand.
