Yes they were I don't think you were playing but when I started they were 500 a piece.

I actually remember when this was true, Rytovius. When I started playing, diamonds were where I got most of my income from; theeen the prices plunged. And when villagers came out? Pfft. Bye bye diamonds. Sad, really. But oh well :3

I know, diamond prices have really gone down. I just bought some for $10.

Solution:
Confiscate ALL the diamonds!

Step 2.
Throw ALL the diamonds in the lava!

Step 3.
Watch ALL the players cry I agony as they lost their diamonds!

Hehe, but don't get me wrong, but there are alot of diamonds out there.
