I bunch of people were talking bout runs cape in the first page so eh.

There should be a Dock event with a bunch of boats at the docks or something like that, just a suggestion.
We could also add fish in the water depending on how deep it is.

sunny day with wett ground and a little snow around:P

I really want a space theme, something like the sky in medieval and a giant space station in the middle where you spawn inside and explore.
maybe a Atlantis themed map.

um if yall are still talking about contest ideas, how about a larger than life contest where the theme is to rebuild some item in real life only in HUMONGUS porportions (although for a multiplayer server that might not be such a good idea...)

Ok second idea, how about video game rep contest where you have to build a given number of things from a video game of your choice.  For example if I choose "TLOZ" series as my theme and the given contest number of things you have to build is 3 then i build and submit 3 things/places from the zelda series like a hylian shield, a sword, and for the kicker a scale model of the temple of time.

The mapsizes are here at Opticraft by default 512 x 512 x 96, higher in common with this rate might cause instability for clients.
