Yes, you read the title right, a new guest world has been in the making for quite some time. I can officially announce that it is 95% done! We have just a few more things to build/move around then we will be ready to hand it over to optical so he can do whatever magic he does to port it over to the current server.

Opticraft User: "well what about all of our stuff on the current guest world? Will we lose it?"

Fear not my fellow opticrafter, the current guest world will still be accessible after the new guest world is put into place.

I am not going to give out any details on what the new spawn will be before it is launched but lets just say it is absolutely amazing.

After a talk with optical a few months back I was under the impression that he wanted to remove the current guest world after a period of time. I seemed to have misunderstood him and there are no plans to ever delete the current guest world.

Outstanding

You guys are going to be amazed when you see this new world! Get excited.

Now everyone should be content haha

Good thing I already moved all my stuff when the member world came out.
And I can't beleive the perfect timing between the suggestions post and this.....
Sometimes I think optical and the admins are setting everything up just so they can troll us.
EDIT: also if the Geist world will be delete can you put a download, I know the file will be huge but ill be able to play on the Geust world after I wait a day for it to download

This is awesome news! I just had a question to branch off of the "user comment" you placed in the announcement. You said that the original guest world would be accessible for quite some time. Does this mean that the original guest world will be deleted? And if so, then our builds in that world will be deleted with it?

If the answer is yes, would you suggest the immediate relocation of our current guest world builds?

ditto i moved all of my stuff to member world good thing to i cant wait for this to be done

Wait a moment, the old one will be avilable for a WHILE?!

Cool, Need anyhelp building for the spawn. I can help.

It's hard containing a secret like this :p
But finally, I can't wait.

Eventually the old guest world will be deleted. But we have not even though about a date when that would happen. Immediate relocation is not necessary because we are talking about months from the new guest worlds launch.

…the current guest world will still be accessible for quite some time after the new guest world is put into place.…

Like a few other people above me, "The Guest World we are using will be deleted?"…
Please tell me we will able to transfer our main builds before the transition, because a lot of us would just give up on remaking their home the way it is if they're still stationed in the current one…

Will you be transporting stuff over to the new guest world Nick?

I hope because I have some pretty good stuff in the guest world.

Sonic, as he said, it will be months before anything is deleted, so dont worry about it now. Snape, probably not.
