I think it's because school has started again. The guests can be people who have been bored over the summer and now the people of the world have learned that minecraft classic is just as fun as the full version. And I'm one of those people to put the stupid appeals to

Its not our opinion that SMP is better so gets a bigger crowd, it is mojangs

They decided to let people play the demo other than classic, hence why less people play classic now-a-days
