Any1 wanna build a massive automatic wheat farm underground??
I got all items and a start room
but I need to trust u and i first wanna know u before we make the farm
I wanna make it with 4 floors and each floor will be 40x60
I hope that a few people will answer here

I could help you though im not gonna be on this server for 5 days

Glad to help!

So by automatic it is just going to push the wheat, but then you have to then go and replant the seeds every time... so its not full auto

i didnt sadi fully automatic :p

Okay I have a design for hweat that uses minimal water but the dimensions have to be a multiple of 3 like 60x60 and if it has four stories, it yields I think 12800 wheat. I'd be glad to donate and build.

how about you share you concept to us so we can see if it looks good.

You make a 3x3 square and dig out the middle block and till the 8 surrounding blocks. Fill the center with water and the edges with seeds. Make a giant 60x60 square, with 400 holes. This makes a layer. Each 3x3 yields 8 wheat. There are 400 of these patterns so you will end up with 3200 wheat, assuming all plants are good. However, realistically it should yield h=harvest; 3000≤h≤3200 and you can make the water fall, platform to platform, so you only need a mod/op to place 400 water blocks. And 400/12800 is 1/32, so you need only 1 bucket of water to feed 32 pieces of wheat. Also make the platform spacing 2 to prevent greifers making you replow the whole thing by trampling it.

* iGenerator 's Brain melts

But sadly we will need 200 stacks of dirt and like 10 stacks of torches

i Use my own design for it so u can donate stuff :
Dirt ( ofc )
Torches/glowstone
cobble stone
pistons
Redstone ( repeaters )

You can help at it , the design is easy http://smp.opticraft.net/map/#/-1632/64/928/-2/1/0
It will be updated i build it 1 min ago

If you need a hand, I am more than willing to help.

I'm presuming (and from the sound of it) it's very similar to mine in design (behind the Pyramid at the /warp SouthWest)?

Anyways, if you do, just shout me up

Saw it, it looks nice! Keep it up.

Are the torches where the wheat goes?

Wow -That was a monster to work on. And the rain held out right until the very last minute too.

Good job on the layout
