Add mob eggs to the market. Just cows, chickens, pigs, and sheep. Just the farm animals. Because right now, its impossible to make CAKE!

There's another topic on this already, I believe.

here is another idea get some wheat and lead them to your home, and we already have chicken eggs so that wouldn't be necessary. I know that there might not be that many animals around your home, but you have to remember this is a survival server. As of right now unless you home is under the ocean or in the sky it is possible to lead animals to your home. Even if you do live in the sky or ocean there is still an unconventional way to get them there. If you add spawn eggs it will start to turn opticraft into a creative server and that is not what we want.

I was only able to find animals on the other side of the map. The point is, people are going to kill them. New animals spawn only when new chunks are loaded. Because of that, the animals are limited on the server. So either add spawn eggs or have mods occasionally spawn some more animals in unoccupied areas. Those are the only solution I see to the severe lack of animals.

1. Mods can't spawn animals.
2. We are a survival server.
3. Find it yourself.
Sorry but if you can't be self sufficent then you need to change the way you play. Just look around in my town I found 2 cows after about 2 weeks. Just be pateint and wait.

agreed, i made my house in the ocean and the surrounding biomes has 30+ sheeps 10+ cows 5+ pigs and tons of chicken, i lured them back on my boat , its about the effort you put in to get them to your home boi XD... as stated this is a survival server, and people will be impressed that you get so many sheeps/pigs/cows, since as u stated they are rare :/

Like techdude said, doing this will just ruin the whole survival feel to server.
I know it may be hard finding animals and what not, but that's the whole point.

I'd have to agree, animals aren't that rare.  I just slaughtered a group of cows that were trespassing on my property.  *LOL*  You just have to go looking for them. 

Heck, apparently someone is even 'breeding' villagers now.  I didn't even know you could do that.

A baby villager will spawn if there's enough doors, eg u have 2 villagers and 30 doors, the villagers will make babies until the total number of villager is 1/3 the number of doors.

I Agree the eggs should not be allowed at the market because..it will ruin the survival part of the server as been said before.

Yeah, i realize now its not a good idea

Why don't you just have some mods fly around and spawn some mobs when the amount of mobs gets low?

No that is not really part of survival aswell you just need to take the time to go look for what you need it will be there.

Pfft we can't spawn mobs... What is this, New Zealand where there is too many sheep?
