Reason for application: Because of the recent popularity and success of the SMP server, I would like to help out on classic as I feel we need more operators who are flexible with different times.
Why you should become an operator: Opticraft has always been my first and only server. I started out on classic, gradually getting to know everyone until I achieved recruit. As a recruit, I have always done my best to help ease the load of busy operators by answering commonly asked questions for them. I used to give out water and lava to some guests that I had befriended at the time, allowing them to achieve the vision they wanted in their builds. Despite being a recruit, I tried to assert a similar operator presence onto the guests, even though I really had no power. I don't know if I ever had the intention to try to achieve builder, since building itself never really interested me. To be frank, I'm a chatter. I talk to people, get to know them, and help them adjust to an unfamiliar place. It's always been a hope of mine, to one day achieve that coveted Operator rank, but my lack of building skills has prevented me from being able to apply. When I got the "go-ahead" from Nick, it thrilled me. Finally, I had a chance to prove my dedication for a server that I have been a part of for over 6 months. I consider myself mature, calm, patient, responsible and friendly, especially when a guest comes in for the first time on Opticraft. As it has always been, I hope to one day prove myself as a dedicated Operator, if I am accepted.
Have you been temp-op before?: No
Extra information: I am usually available to log on at any given time, however night shifts are probably when I can be on most. I can probably maintain at least 20+ hours a week operating but it really depends on my schedule.
