Opticraft Community

Hello fellow opticraft member. Have you ever had to get a nether portal lit or fire for a fireplace? All the mods are busy fixing grief and you cant get it lit. I think fire should be given back to trusteds. This could help out the mods greatly, because they are busy fixing grief or working on a project, then they have to go out and lite a portal or a fireplace. I understand in the past, trusteds wernt so "trusting" with fire because they tried to grief people's houses. But, as seen today, we have hit a new era of trusteds and mods, ops, members, and more guests join everyday, that they all need fire. Right now only mods can light it, but i hope to see in the future a guy says "can someone light my nether portal", a trusted says "I will be there in a sec."

Don't know the reason why it was removed but I think it is a good idea. Most of the mods are already very busy.

NO (full stop) XD pew it is a very good idea but I don't support it. Trusted players can use fire through FIRECHARGES and I wouldn't recommend using those. Once, I used fire charges in a wrong way ( I don't want to talk about it ) so, I will never use me again!

I know where your coming from, but I truly think things like fire and lava should be kept as Mod+.

If you need some, I'll give you half a stack

Fadmad they took away the ability for trusteds to use fire charges.

I actually THINK that Trusted's can use Fire Charges, but only on obsidian for lighting portals.  Might not be able to though.  It was discussed, but I don't know if it was actually implemented.

Deekay, i see your point. I have been griefed by fire in the past. But as trusteds, we should be trusted enough, to be trusted. If people would just think about their actions before they do them, the outcome would be totally diffrent. For example, if someone asked them to set a house on fire that is "theirs" would you? Or if someone asked for their nether portal to be lite, that is more "safe".

Thanks for the info viper. Thats what i thought i read in the past.

Some trusted can't be trusted. They messed it up for us. Though in the end it better protects the server.

Ps, 100th post!

Firecharges were removed from trusted because the netherrack in the market was lit and people were dying. You can still place it on obsidian for portals I believe.

Somebody remove what I said

I know this may be irrelevant, and I'm not trusted, but is that why I have no more fire charges?

Alicia, they took away the ability for trusteds to lite nether portals.

In my opinion I don't think Trusted's can't be that Trusted with fire.
