Builder application information--READ THIS---

Made something cool on the server and what to be promoted to either recruit or builder?
This is where you apply to gain that extra rank!

Please copy paste the template below into a new thread within this forum, filling out the blanks.
Any posts which do not follow this template will be closed and ignored.

Sites to upload your screenshots:

Please note this is only for Builders. Recruit applications are not needed. Ask an operator in-game to get Recruit status.

Before making an application make sure you have been a recruit for at least three or more days.

Template:

Title: [BUILDER] Name

Ingame name:
Join date:
Briefly describe all your creations:
What worlds are the creations on:
Links to screenshots of the creation:
Names of players who helped contribute:
What is your current rank in Opticraft ?:
Extra (Anything else you want to mention):
Do you agree with our terms(http://www.opticraft.net/index.php?topic=3.0) ?:

Here is an example template to show you what it should look like. (I did not actually make these things though!)

Ingame name: opticalza
Briefly describe all your creations: I created the Swedish flag, the Lego man at the spawn, and a fancy house.
What worlds are the creations on: All are on the guest map.
Where abouts can they be found?: Legoman is in the spawn. Swedish flag and the house are in the top corner of the map
Links to screenshots of the creation:

Names of players who helped contribute: Hannotje
What is your current rank in Opticraft ?: Recruit
Extra (Anything else you want to mention):I've helped make several other things, such as the giant tree house in the centre of the map, and the soccer stadium. I would really like to work on sprites in the Art world, as well as finish the stadium in the city!
Do you agree with our terms (http://www.opticraft.net/index.php?topic=3.0) ?:
Yes

Just an advice for recruits, take your time to make something good. Check some accepted applications and try to find out for yourself what is expected of you. If you think you can't make things like that, don't give up, keep challenging yourself, think big. One awesome thing is much better then a hundred mediocre ones. Quality is valued highly over quantity here. Some things I personally think are very important are detail and originality. It doesn't matter if you supersize that mariosprite or that pyramid, if there is no extra detail. Also, don't expect that applying for the fifth time will get you through because of pity, because we want our quality. Maybe you are just not meant to be a builder, if you think that's the case, then go and cry in a corner. If you are desperate to get it, be prepared to put some time in it.

Oh, another important tip for those that want to become Builder (or at least an existing tip that needs better clarification):

[Edit] Use the time that is given to you (and more if you need) to build things of good quality and TAKE YOUR TIME on your builds. You don't want to rush through anything, or else that would make for a bad application. Not only does this help reduce application cluttering/ spam, but it also gives you a window of opportunity to build a great many things ;)

As Builder Applications are no longer being overviewed for Trials, you will need to spend more time on your builds to make them look good-- both on the outside and inside. Empty builds are considered incomplete builds, so add as much internal detail as you can.
