Osama Bin Laden is dead

Felt like being the first to say, the news and government have just confirmed that Osama Bin Laden has been killed by Navy SEALSa bomb. They recovered his body and confirmed it was him.

Edit: Not a bomb, thats what the news was saying before Obama made his speech.

Unfortunately I don't think that is what is going to happen... This will most likely cause more tension between the Al Qaeda and the US as the terrorist organization will probably want revenge for this. Shit just got real!

bye a bomb??? Obama said on tv it was in a fire fight between the cia .... My whole family believes pakistan to have been hiding him as he was found 100 meters from a pakistan army barraks... Its a military family :D most have been to fight in iraq or afgan :-\

He was shot in a firefight after we sent in a group of american soldiers (most likely the SEALs or delta force) when the packistan government found out he was living there.

EDIT: The pentagon confirmed it was an operation by a Navy SEAL team.

We have won the battle, not the war.

 - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that bin Laden's death was a "resounding triumph for democratic nations fighting terrorism."

The war won't be over untill we win the terrorists.

Sorry, false infromation. I posted this before Obama did his speech, the news report was saying it was a bomb.

When the seals went in, they documented offering for him to go with them peacefully, he refused, they shot him. He was shot along with one of his son's, one of his wives, and two couriers. He was given traditional Islamic rites, and was "buried at sea" (they threw him in the ocean!). There was DNA confirmation that it IS in fact Osama Bin Laden  that was killed.

Can u imagine finding binladen u-"sir... Come with me" bin-"no"u-"ok"*shoots binladen in the face with a m4oa3 bolt action standard 7.67 nato round*  aftermath = ...... Awkward...... Aftern the nerdy gun spec speach...

5.56x45mm is the standard NATO round, and the M4 isnt bolt action, it uses a gas piston.
