I won't be updating to 1.8, new enchanting sucks and iron golems/zombie pigmen Have to be killed by hand to drop loot.

Bummer. I better make the most of my gold farm then. I need them golden carrots.

I've been updating to the snapshots, however, the latest one appears to drop my fps from 50 to 20 in my SSP world. Odd

It's like the snapshots are an alpha build or something...

ive on and off used snapshots for months now and never had fps issues
Also, the pigman change was reverted. Iron golems and pigmen are normal

I had some major FPS issues starting with 14w02c, it kept stuttering and freezing every second for some moments. Today I looked on the Mojang bug tracker and noticed it was mainly people with AMD/ATI drivers so updated to the latest AMD Catalyst Control Center and it works fine now. Not sure what drivers you have, but try updating them.

I often get very lag  when testing snapshots seem to get more from the ones that add new blocks to the terrain like the new stone

How can I tell whether my account has been migrated or not? And if it hasn't been migrated, how do I do so?
