Single Player worlds
« on: November 27, 2012, 12:33:06 am »
When ever I try to create a super flat world in single player it gets stuck on loading world for long enough I give up and shut down every time. Now for my regular maps this pops up

(click to show/hide)

any one know how to fix and I'n not sure the 2 world loading problems are the same since the super flats never give a crash report.

What kind of superflat world are you trying to generate, first of all?

Just any. I specifically want the redstone ready one but if I could get any working that would be great. Same with the regular worlds.

Looks like your files are wrong somehow.. Do yo ugo to these maps by going to mc.net or do you have it on a toolbar or your desktop. If you go to a toolbar or desktop one it may work.

12 and single and ready to mingle! changed didn't it ;)
don't click this link... Unless you wanna see a sexy model. You only have one family. Don't make a bad choice.

I use the desktop version. My mac doesn't like to play minecraft on minecraft.net. But that has been that way since minecraft first came out.
Ps sorry for any spelling errors I'm responding on my iPod.

Here's what you do: go to .minecraft copy your saves to another folder, then delete .minecraft log in agian, and it'll download again. Then go back to .minecraft and copy your saves back.
If you can't find .minecraft open minecraft open texture packs, click add new texture pack or whatever, then that'll be in the .minecraft folder.
Also close minecraft before you delete .minecraft
About posts, how do you even post a post?

I have already done this. I didn't back up my saves before because of not being able to open them. Any other suggestions?

If you like, I could send you the Redstone ready map, that is if you know how to install maps, and you can do it that way and it might work.

Have already tried that. I'm currently having another staff member send me their minecraft folder and am going to replace mine with theirs to see if that will work.
