It seems like you guys have taken this over, but don't forget about me. Once I get back from vacation, I'll get back to this. Oh and btw, I have FRAPS.

Opticraft now has an official youtube. However, I am going to be extremely strict with what videos go on it.

I understand, Nick. One of my ideas for a video would be to show builds in the showcase worlds, while another would be to show off builds of less talented players, such as members and recruits. (I'm only talking about classic here.) We could also have an informational video describing the ranks and rules.

Uhh, I have Camtasia, which I assume is better than Fraps.
And I enjoy editing videos, so I'm here to help.
I can record in both SMP (using my friend's account) and Classic.

Just saying, if you want me to help with SMP, you're gonna have to be very specific, 'cause I have no idea what SMP is about or what interests people into it.

Sounds good, Nick. I think this will be a good place for the christmas video a few of us are making. When I get round to actually recording the final scene, I might need a fairly large crowd to jump around in the snow :p

Camtasia is not just recording software unlilke Fraps but from my experience camtasia dropped the framerate loads more than Fraps. I personally like Fraps more, it uses far less resources.

This is a good idea, I think that the first classic video should be the showcases worlds.

So... Would each video have like a special event or something? Or is it something else?

I am not going to give it out since the channel is empty right now. There is still a few things I need to do before posting the first video which will be a promo video for smp.

Will staff members be able to access the account, or is it just going to be Admins+ that can do anything with it?

I'm not using Camtasia to edit the footage.
I have Sony Vegas for that. :P

I think Fraps is better for recording purposes, but I do NOT have Sony Vegas, so I will send the footage to you for editing.
