when I was a minecraft n00b... I would just throw away all my redstone because i thought it was worthless. I also thought that squids were rare so I made a big deal about them the first time I ever saw them. And died underwater because I didn't know that water drowns in minecraft. And about pooped my pants the first time an enderman ever tried to kill me.

I like to get on classic every now and then, but since a java update on my mac. Classic cannot be loaded at all. Here is the error message that I get when I try. Does anyone have a way of fixing this? If not, I won't be able to play classic.

If i were a mod I would lock this. Giving free money to people is not good for a survival server economy.

Why don't people just get protection stones and protect their area from being griefed? Then problem solved in the first place!
I've been on opticraft for about 5-/+ months now, and I have never been griefed. Just goes to show that protection stones do actually work. Plus this eliminates the need for normal players and trusteds to need an /blockhistory command.

Not a good idea. Using a bucket of water is so much easier that using ice anyway. We should just keep the rules constant, and not change them for an individua'ls problem.

As a survival server we don't need tons of commands. The want of more power to make the game easy is natural, but we need to remember that it isn't called survival for nothing.
