I live in Massachusetts. I lost power for about 6 hours and missed two days of school.

well i'm pretty much at the heart of the hurricane.. New Jersey, Luckily i wasn't near the coast, that was hit BAD, but any way my house lost power for, it still has no power, right now i'm staying at my bakery (yes i own a bakery :) ) which got power on, Thursday. and so far since Monday I've had no school.

We had some strong winds on Wednesday-Friday up here in Chicago. Even some rainfall in some areas. Obviously, we got the dullest effects of the storm.

Hope everyone is fine after the storm. I've heard some accounts of major robberies and looting in New York from relatives living there who keep up with the news. I hope no one falls prey to these accounts of cowardice.
