Don't just me on that video. I was just jumping around, have seizures and doing 360 spins to prove my framerate stays constant.
In terms of gameplay, that was the worst video imaginable for me.

well what would you suggest then and 6gb still lags alot nick i can barely use fraps without lag
This not because of your ram at all, especially not with 6GB. Your CPU or GPU is what is causing the lag. I can record BF3 videos on fraps with my 4GB of ram, I'm sure your 6 is fine.
Exactly. I've got 4GB of RAM on my laptop, but Minecraft actually runs worse on it than my desktop at home (which has 2GB, but a better GPU).

Also, to all the people posting part lists and costs: aren't you forgetting the OS?  Windows 7 Home Premium is $120 on Microsoft's site for an upgrade, $200 for the full version.

Get any i7 processor, and anything better than a Nvidia 560ti should be good without lag

I have a i5 that clocks at 3.5 GHz, and a Radeon 6850. I can FRAPS at 30 frames/sec on Battlefield 3 ultra settings.
Sorry tyler but i call bullshit on this. BF3 is a GPU heavy game and seeing as how I have an HD 6870 and can barely stay above 40FPS in BF3 on ultra, there is no way in hell you can get 30 fps while recording with a weaker video card than me.

There you go Nick. Smooth as glass.
I went to the middle of a tank superiority round. 1 objective. 64 players.
Biggest map in Battlefield history, Bandar Desert, 4x5km of pure awesomeness.

Lowest it dipped to was around 20 or higher FPS. Not the best, but definitely playable and watchable.

P.S. Sorry about my engineer kit. I know it's god awful but I never play engineer anyways. Usually medic or support.

why nick ?

i have a friedn that has this and his computer never lags at all
That entire list is a joke. You are basically setting fire to a pile of money. Not to mention you get NOTHING from sli ing 680's since 1 680 can max out every game most likely for the next few years.

32GB of ram is a joke in itself. You can post videos on youtbe with 1GB of ram lol, the 6 you have is more than enough.

I guarantee that you will NEVER use 3TB of harddrive space since I am assuming you will put a lot fo your games on the SSD along with windows.

And claw. It wouldnt be those exact parts, but some would stay the same (case, PSU)

Your paying something like 3000$ for a system and your going to use 1500$ of it at most. The rest is just burning money.

Out of experience, i was asking opticraft the same thing a long while back, and i even remember my dad telling me how much cheaper it is. It's like most things in life, the labour of assembling something adds a considerable amount more than doing it yourself. i built my own, i had no knowledge on it, just youtube and stuff.
Mine runs any of the latest games. (newest game i've tried is F1 2012.) and, games like crysis 2, Battlefield 3, all perfectly fine, and i only spend around £500 on mine, in dollars, i guess that's about 700$. I highly doubt you can get a prebuilt for £500 / $700 that runs all the latest games perfectly fine.

Thank you for your help, this one especially helped me, but still guys, keep it going. I am going to have a price range of around 700$, kinda like Spikey.
If you want, i will put together a list of parts for you if you are willing to build it yourself. I have lots of experience and knowledge regarding computer parts.

I can help out too, I am currently on a custom made 1600$ computer that I assembled myself.
If your looking for something good, I would recommend getting a
Radeon 6850 (200$),
some mid range i5 (200$),
4 or 8 GB of RAM(50$-100$),
1TB harddrive(100$), no SSD.
A minitower or mid tower should work(100$),
and a cheap mother board that is around 100$.

All of that should total around 750$, if your building it yourself.

Try http://www.NCIX.com (Canadian Site)
or http://www.us.NCIX.com
They have the best discounts, and free shipping.

5 essential parts of a PC:
Harddrive
RAM
CPU
Video/Graphics card
Motherboard/bus

Other stuff:
a case (you actually don't HAVE to have one, you can put it inside a cereal box for I know)
Solid State Drive
DVD/Blu-ray
built in Wifi adapter
Liquid cooling system :P

You're right, the rest of the world doesn't see what's so bad about the 9th of November, (9/11) - Because this horrifying tragedy occurred on the 11th of September, (9/11)

not true i saw it, i even saw footage of inside the building. we do see whats wrong with it. but we don't mourn the dead. we just get television specials over conspiracy theories we don't give a rats ass about o.o
of course we know that it was horrifying, a kid in my class knew someone who died there(on a holiday).
but its not connected to most of us(as non-americans)

I believe you misunderstood my post - I quoted Tyler's post and corrected him.
Btw. The rest of the world doesn't see what's so bad about the 9th of November, (9/11)

Tyler does not have his facts straight.

The horrific event of 9/11 occurred on September 11th, not November 9th.

Dude. Im just making fun of the fact that Americans have their date system different to the entire world.
Everywhere else, it goes DD/MM/YYYY, in America, its MM/DD/YYYY, so 9/11/(2001) would actually be 11/9/(2001) everywhere else. A lot of people around the world actually get confused because of that.
just saying. And this:

I still love America :3 My favorite next door neighbour for buying designer goods from :P

Also. Haroshima is not a war crime/terrorism. War has been declared on japan for a good 4 years, and they recieved abundant warnings which they chose to ignore. They were given the option to surrender after Haroshima, instead they declined and that resulted in the bombing of Nagasaki. After that, they still refused to surrender, the US send a NORMAL bombing run over Tokyo as a fair warning for whats coming next, and finally Japan gave in.

9/11. Perfectly fine day, Airport security was chill and laid back. 4 airliners get hijacked out of nowhere, 3000 innocent people die without warning.

If you want to see a real war crime, look at the Holocaust and this(NSFW): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rape_of_Nanking

3000 people died in pearl habour, it was unexpected and war was not declared yet. Why doesn't the whole country take a moment of silence on December 7, 1941? People will move on. And yes, it was a event that was terrorizing and I respect all other views on it.

Heres the picture of the new Tower under construction:

Guys, I know I'm not American, but it's been 11 years, and it's really time to move on, unless you have a relative that was affected by 9/11, there's no need for a moment of silence unless you actually want to pay your respects.

Btw. The rest of the world doesn't see what's so bad about the 9th of November, (9/11)
#america

Btw, haroshima happened during a war, and the Japanese were given warnings which they chose to ignore. The rape of Nanking was the worst war crime commited by the japs, far worse then haroshima.

Edit: what I find funny is that some terrorists with 20$ worth of kitchen knifes and fake bombs brought down 2 multibillion dollar skyscrapers and 2 multimillion dollar jets. I really only respect the people onboard flight united 93. If your going to die, resist.
