now we all love our mods/ops/admins/owners of opticraft, but there are some moments where you message them and two minutes later you think, "did I REALLY just ask them that?" and "are they just going to laugh at me for asking?"
now I am asking you to describe the worst (legal, not joking) things you used a /helpop to ask a mod to do...and they did it for you.
I have one. I asked Italian_crafter for help with no less than 57 pss. some of diamond, lapis and coal, in four different locations. he helped me cheerfully and without complaint, and did the mods and ops credit. (no I am NOT asskissing, I just wanted that to be clear.) awesome alicia also did 8 coal pss for me on my iron farm. all of which were 70 blocks apart.

Judging from my history on opticraft, how long I've been around, what I've done and built, how I've acted do you think I'd be a good mod? this question is mainly for the mods and ops+, but anyone is free to answer. I'm considering applying for mod next cycle, and wonder what people would think about that.

The demon tree is a build that is protected, that I am trying to make into a town. anyone who wants to can build a house on the leaves of my giant tree. contact me in opticraft (demonic2012) if you want a plot. plots are free and include free access to public farms, (wheat, Carrot, melon, possibly potato, netherwart and maybe even a tree farm on a tree) villager area and egg drops. I am also putting in chests that anyone can put in or take out items from that they don't want.
these are the features I have already. future features include a chicken Colosseum that will be finished for entertainment purposes, possibly a gockey arena, (for those of you who don't know, Gockey is a sport where you hit an iron golem into a net. I have one on my private skyland atm, and people will ref their own matches. naturally, it was made by yours truly.)

what item, if you had to pick one, would be the item that you hate the most: it takes up too much space, gets in the way, clogs up your inventory and generally sucks. I'm just curious what that item would be for everyone.

did you ever want to live on a giant tree, or in the shadow of it? well I can help you there. the trusted eccentric builder (me) has finally got protection for the demontree. I have a free villager area, as well as small public farms of every variety. just message me ingame to get a plot. oh and did i mention? it's completely free. planned features include adding 6 levels to the villager area inside the tree, a chicken Colosseum, and a massive sheep farm.

Why should we grant this city protection? because swan worked extremely hard in building it. he is having comp problems, so I am filling this app in for him. he is a cool guy who's putting in a lot of effort for this town to take off.

being a canadian, I live in a house where hockey is played, watched, etc. I decided that opticraft needed another minigame, (because let's face it, spleef is getting old) so I invented golem hockey or GOCKEY for short. you bash around an iron golem with enchanted "hockey" sticks (you wear whatever armor you want) and in teams of 2, 5 or solo, you try to get the golem into the net. (iron golems hit hard, so the endurance of a player really gets brought into play. there are two ways to score points.
1. get it into other teams net
or
2. have the other team kill the golem.
to have added elements, the referee is allowed to hit it with a snowball once in a point (like once between two goals.)
this is so referees dont get bored to death.
please respond if you like the idea

I am demonic2012. I am banned from opticraft a second time, for a reason that I have no idea what is happening. today was the first time I have been back on minecraft for a month, due to issues with my computer. I thought that maybe it was because I forgot to log out before going to dinner, being afk, but I logged back in and walked around for a few seconds, and was suddenly banned. I had a friend of mine inquire, and he responded that a mod had told him I had put an "illicit symbol" on a mods land. I haven't even been off of my land in over a month, and I have no idea what is going on. please help me! I honestly have no idea what is going on right now and I am still confused. you might know from my previous ban appeal that I am honest and admitted when I was in the wrong. I do not understand what I did or why I would be banned.

I am demonic2012. I have been banned for 14 days by Xeaden. I do not believe I have griefed. I placed over 300 roses near shock's house. I do not believe that this can count as a grief for several reasons. 1) it isn't destroying property. nothing of his was touched. all i did was place roses. 2) the grass around his house is not "his". he did not place it or protect it, and it is a natural area. 3) it was not meant to be a Grief or a troll or anything. I thought it would be kinda funny, and i thought that shock would take it as such. I am genuinely sorry for any..erm...shock and/or inconvenience by a result of my actions. I thought it would be amusing, and I'm surprised that it was this serious. 4) roses are not hard to remove. it takes no effort to remove, and i really didn't think it was a big deal. it's not like i placed obsidian everywhere or something like that 5) I had no warning. I wasn't aware that placing roses in that way was considered a grief. I guess that was my fault, but considering the fact that I've never been banned before, and the fact that i've only been kicked twice (once because another demon did something) I don't believe that this kind of ban was in order. In conclusion, I apologize for my actions, and plead my ignorance to the fact that placing roses is a grief. I am genuinely sorry, and all i want to do is get back on the server. I admire the effectiveness of opticraft's anti-greifing system, and I look forward to playing on the server in the future, even though I am on the recieving end this time.  hoping that you will consider my ban appeal, Demonic2012

why is the mob culling plugin going bat-shit insane? it's killing all of my mobs! i had only 5 cows in an 11x11 area and they all died! i have no villagers in my villager farm because they all MYSTERIOUSLY disappear. I mean, this is kind of getting ridiculous. I used to love this server, but all of my mobs are dying. I think there are other ways of culling. like doing it per chunk, or culling only in excessive areas. I agree that opticraft is a great server, but the mob culling has only brought frustration and annoyance to me and the group of 6 players I represent. I love opticraft, but there are so many other options that AREN'T extreme. this is causing pain to me, nightdrop, bioboygamer, awesomedude069 machinegun_009 and hasee500 and this is an issue that we all deem nessicary to fix. please consider changing.

when I was on ecocitycraft, any player could place a shopsign and sell stuff while offline this strikes me as a big improvement to any server also, the marketplace is very limited in what you can sell. It makes me wonder why. why can I sell pistons, but not wool? why can't I sell the things at an npc market that you might not be able to sell to other players? the locking system is quite excellent on the server, but it is very expensive. especially with the market limits placed. thanks for listening and stuff demonic2012
