General Discussion / Re: IDK how to get Mumble
« on: July 04, 2012, 02:57:05 pm »
1st of all, Windows 7 is not a computer, it's an operating system. But if you are looking to get mumble, you can go to the mumble home page and click the banner off to the right that says "Mumble Client 1.2.3a", and it should open a mini window. On this mini window, it shows the options of mumble where you can get a skin(it should say "with Mumble.com Skin" underneath it), and where you can't get a skin. I recommend the skin allowing one if you like personalizing stuff, but if you don't, you can go ahead and click the bottom one. After that it should download the ile onto you computer. If you are not using Google Chrome, go down into your windows search bar in the start menu, and search "Downloads". Click on the one with the translucent looking folder icon, and select mumble-1.2.3a_plus_MumbleComSkin.exe if you downloaded the one with the skin, but if you didn't, it should just be mumble-1.2.3a.exe. When you locate either one of those files, double click on it and it will run you through the steps and install mumble on your computer. If you are using Google Chrome, all you need to do is go down to the downloads bar and run the file and you should be all set.

As to your questions about the headset, you will only need it if your computer does not have a built in microphone. Most computers do, so you should be good to go, but if not, you will indeed need a headset with a mike.

When I got the “go-ahead” from Nick
You also might want to say you got special permission from an Admin to prevent spam.
I meant somewhere more obvious, as most people don't take the time to read the full application before commenting.

Do not apply for recruit, simply ask an operator ingame to judge your build(s). This also would not be enough for recruit by itself, therefore Rejected.

Offtopic / Re: Your Username - Why?
« on: June 06, 2012, 05:23:36 am »
Well, I came up of my name though another person. You see, when I used to play MH3 Tri online, I was part of a clan called the Nargacuga. The leader of our clan's rank was Elite, my rank was Delta, and my favorite number is 64. So there we have it.

My OTHER name (ZenotropicTiger) of course came from another video game. I was playing Metroid Prime, and upon first exploring Frigit Orphean, I was scanning everything. I eventually came to locked door with an unstable life form inside of it, and when I scanned it, it said something about said life form being Xenotropic. From there, I was creating my first minecraft account, and I decided to use an animal as the second part of my username. I decided on a tiger because they are violent and they eat other things. Of course, it being about 12:00am when I made my account, I spelled Xenotropic wrong.

So this is how I came up with my names.

Well the reason it actually wasn't suggested there is because this seed no longer works as of 1.8.

Who here from the old days of Minecraft Beta 1.7.3- remebers that old seed "Glacier"? I know I do, and I was pretty much playing on that every time I was on.
Anyway, to the point, I took a nice picture of the old Glacier world, with a bit of new stuff in it, like a jungle. Tell me what you think. :)

Support / Bug?

Hello, I was playing on the SMP server earlier today, and I saw that shears had no durability! Is this part of a plugin, or is it a possible bug? Thanks for reading.
