Slimes!!!

I dont know what is going on, I was about an hour between 60-120 blocks away from my slime chuck and nothing appeared.
I am pissed with that shit.

Not quite! I and Scotty(something) were waiting in my spawner for 2 minutes for a spider to spawn but nothing... And imagine i usually get 5-9 mobs every minute alone. On the other hand, a random conversation with a player made me wonder ( because he was using mobspawners to level up pretty fast) that mob spawn rates are broken for some people and not generally.

No, it's not for "some people". It's in general. Spawners work on and off. If they didn't work for you, log and come back in a few hours. It may, or not. My spawners sometimes work and sometimes do. Mob rates across the board are up and down. It is a bit of a drag, especially with slimes having one of the most important mats for one of the most useful, newer, and fun items in the game, sticky pistons.
