if melons now sell for 480 can you at least make it so that gold sells for more than 75 or make it so we can make descent money on something else. Melons should cost 960 it is not fair for those of us that did not get a chance to earn a revenue of 960. Those players who have already been in the server for a while have had the chance to earn thousands now its gonna be harder for the new comer farmers. Change the price back to 980 please it wont change anything if you do. I believe that the people who save up money to get the resources to make a giant farm deserve the money, i so far have worked for a week on my auto farm and have spent 100k on it alone for only the first 2 stories of the farm. Not fair man.

Actually just came up with an idea just increase price of items and boom. Or make it so every week we get 10% of our bal removed for those with money above 100k and below only 5%

Keep in mind that when the server first launched, the sell price for melons were much lower.
I'd be happy with $480.

They changed the price though for 32 its like $200 or something and for 64 its $480

High melon prices + People making massive melon farms = Players have too much money and it's basically building in creative for those people (Destroys the concept of survival)

3 Solutions.

     1.Tax those with melon farms. too hard to implement

     2.Raise the prices of everything in the market to adapt to the amount of wealth. No, Because there's a simpler solution, and less hassle to deal with people not being able to afford anything without a melon farm.

     3.Lower the price of melon farms It's better than solution 2, takes less work, and creates less problems.

Well doesn't /home, /warp and similiar plugins also destroy the concept of "survival"?

I personally don't agree that they are on "creative-mode", just because they have infinite money.

They spend a lot of time and effort in building those farms, where they could have been farming dungeon, killing mobs or collecting ore.
But instead chose to invest their money, which they initially made through some farming, to put farms together with some ingenuity. (Which is also is a very monotone job, building row after row of melons and pistons. just melons and pistons.)

Nevertheless i agree with slowing it down a bit.

If you ask me lowering sell back prices won't really change much because people will still make profit albeit slightly slower....

People with large scale melon farms will make a million a day from melons. Lowering the prices of melons wont affect much. That's still half a million a day for some people.
