Chest shops

You have the ability to sell these items to people by building your own player-owned shop. It is true that these kinds of shops are a little bit of a hassle to deal with, but its better than not knowing what people are gonna do to cheat or exploit the shop in some way if there's no one to keep watch on.
It's pretty much like stores in real-life. You have cashiers that keep track of the item inventories and make sure there aren't any 'shoplifters.'
You could also carry them with you and sell them at the Market as well (most of the players hang around there anyway ::) )

The best way to make money that I have come across is having a melon farm. With a decent sized melon farm you can have a stack of melon blocks in 2 harvests (10-20 min), and that goes for $960 at the market. If you ever need slimeballs or blaze rods just tell people on chat you're buying and somebody will sell. Good luck :D

i have a melon farm and i sell the stack of melon blocks , thats how i earn money
