TripleHead2Go
« on: April 30, 2011, 02:52:58 pm »
Hey!
I've just got the triplehead2go, and wondering if any of you have it?
It allows me to play black ops in 3 screens, widescreen.  Pretty much a given hack :P
What are your inputs on the device?
I recommend it for those heavy gamers out there, but it will cost you $500.

I don't imagine so, as it gets its settings via usb and requires the correct software.

I would rather go with amd eyefinity when it comes to using 3 monitors. But that will have to wait until i buy my 2nd graphics card.

BTW, when playing competitive black ops, you will come to find that is more of  a hassle than a helper.

Using a widescreen hack, it shows me the normal display on one screen, and then a wrap around view on the other two.

The nvidia 8800gt works perfectly, although I have recently upgraded to a radeon card.
Also, upgraded ram from 4 > 6gb :P

I was asking because if you have a good graphics card there would be no need for triplehead2go, if i had the money for 3 monitors i could hook them up right now to my GPU and play.

By the way, 6GB of ram has no performance increase over 4GB. No released program to date uses more than 3.5 GB of ram.

Nick, except for minecraft servers :P
Also, I bought three 28 inch (Think their 28..) moniters for the triplehead, but sadly the triplehead did not have the right resolution!
So now i have three 21 inch monitors.

Minecraft only uses about 2.5 GB of ram on average. It depends on the map you are on.
