Red Queen's Castle
« on: April 22, 2013, 10:08:39 am »
Cora's next big project is COMING SOON!!!

The RED QUEEN'S CASTLE
from Alice and Wonderland (2010)

I have sectioned off some land and set up some donation chests at /home ecorrigall red  . The big need for this project is quartz and redstone - I'm going to need A LOT of it! I will have a contributors wall for the castle just like I did for wonderland, so any generous offerings will be credited and with the help of logblock I'll know who placed what in the chests - so don't worry if you help out you WILL get credit.

Here however is a series of pictures updating my design on the Red Queen's Castle over time.

I'd love the help build and contribute! I'll be sure to look for some more redstone to mine.

That's really nice of you all thanks!! I think right now since I'm still designing it that all that can be helpful is any quartz/redstone donations at /home ecorrigall red. Once I've finished the design and start planning putting on Opticraft I'll prbly need help with landscaping and such.

Anyway, thanks again everyone!

Okay so I have a problem... the space I've outlined is not large enough and there's builds on either side... so I need to find a new home for the castle so I can start dropping it in Opticraft finally... unfortunately I'm having troubles finding a 400x400 minimum block area... so if anyone can find one please let me know! - Try to avoid snow biomes at all cost as the snow ruins the look of the build.

After searching the live maps, I've only seen a couple decent places. Haven't yet checked the dimensions but they're both in jungle biomes, so some extreme excavation will have to take place :J

If you know anything about how/where Wonderland was located you'll know excavation does not scare me away!
