That End world actually looks fairly clean, not sure where you got the idea from that it was ugly.
Besides 'ugly' is an opinion, ugly in your eyes could be someones masterpiece.

Today it happened.  The portal was in a ps so only the mods could get it. They came along and took it

You can actually make the ender dragon eggs teleport out of the protection field then get it. If you can't reach the egg or jump onto the portal in any way, then the mods that use /fly to get it are technically glitching (which is against the rules) to get it because you can't get to it. If you get the names of the mods that do that, tell an admin/op and have them sort it out.
