Iron farms not allowed anymore?
« on: December 14, 2012, 05:09:46 am »
From what I've heard, someone said that iron farms are not allowed anymore. Is itbecause of all the lag that's caused from them?

No not that I know of.  It is not against the rules since your using the game mechanics of the game.  Although the being the afk part is, since you aren't doing anything and making money, but wait for an admin.
if you die in canada do you die in real life?

Read the subject.

They're allowed, it's just that you'll be kicked if you have been afk in-game for so long.

Ah. So technically what you're saying, is people can have iron farms, as long as they don't afk there just to get iron? Can they be working on something and be near them? Sorry if this questions complicated lol.

I don't see anything wrong with being afk and making money, if you put the effort in to build a farm.

I don't know which guy said it was a glitch, but iron golems spawning are 100% part of the game mechanics. Diverting them off using water? Yup, still game mechanics. Killing them? No change there.

So where does the glitch come in?

As long as you dont like sign in game and afk there while you sleep or something it's not a big deal. You can of course build something nearby, just don't afk there for too long.

I'm just wondering, how are you supposed to get one on Opticraft? I didn't see any villages when I was using the live map. Are they all taken?

I am inactive. Click here to send me a message that I'll actually see.

Or you can find zombie villagers that spawn naturally with a rate of 10% , then cure them by using a splash potion of weakness and after that directly a regular golden apple that you can craft with golden nuggets , you need to find 2 zombie villagers and i did that , that took me 2 weeks to get the villagers but with a good night you can get 2 zombie villagers in 1-2 nights
