Need help with minecraft mods

Use the magic launcher, not only can u have multiple setups, you keep your minecraft.jar clean, it just adds the mods while u play and removves when its done. You can also allocate ram so much easier with this. I use this for opticraft.

Got a setup with only optifine for opticraft
And a Super Modded one for me and Morgans server
And i got other random setups like the snapshots and so on.

I just have 2 jars and exchange them. The one you want needs to be named "minecraft" you can't have both with minecraft as their names though.

That's what I wanted to do but how to you play with that jar file not the other one?

That's what I wanted to do but how to you play with that jar file not the other one?

I fail to see how that is any difficult to understand...

Rename one of your jar files as whatever, and rename the other one that you want to use as "minecraft" in your bin folder. It really isn't that hard to understand.
