I don't like the idea of them on the market but I do believe there should be some kinda community tradeing place with the npc's because the prices that the people that are going to sell trade time with testificates( in my opinion )would be higher than anything on the market. So you can trade with villagers in the market maybe and still get emeralds. I think thats the best Idea

Want emeralds? Find them. Find a mountain biome, I'm lucky my house is on the border of three biomes including extreme hills. Also, emeralds aren't useful enough that they should be in the market. Especially not the buy and sell price being the same.

If u can see the biome it means it's generate and won't have emeralds
