There is a "rule", Dont ask for Trusted rank.
But, since you are curious, as Bahraindude said, you have to use mumble in order to become known.
This is the place everyone get met.
On the other hand, you cant compare yourself with others. In your life, you have to take in serious consideration only your track. No, what others do.
Tips:
1) Be kind.
2) Respect the rules (/Rules)
3) Help on projects (Firstly, ask for permission though)
4) Become a seller in order to create some commercial relationship with the buyers.
5) Been generous, helps.

When you see members or just guest, give them advices, and help them get adjusted.
I became trusted very quickly, but these are things that I have done, and are common sense for me.
It depends on your priorities.

Whoops. Thanks spamarian, if you or anyone else needs help with a project, or even one of your treasure hunts, tell me.
I really like helping people, not only because it improves my chance of becoming trusted, but it gives other people a good
impression of the server. I especially enjoy helping new peple with houses, i give them free lots and help them build.
P.S, how does Mumble work? Is it safe? Do you chat with everyone at once? I'm kind of skeptical about talking with people that i don't know.

Senior staff sees all. Do not be fooled if they choose to let an evil action go, or wait to see how an issue between two players works itself out. They may not act right away. But i am sure they are on top of it. Bide your time. Play the game. Have fun. Be nice to everyone. Help out where you can. I am sure you will get there eventually, but don't stress it to much, just enjoy yourself.  ;D
