Wondering because you have to put your age in operator applications, does this affect anything/determine whether you get the job or not?Because I've always wanted to become an operator, but I'm only around nine years old.

As long as you are mature they wont care about your age.
What Nick said. Age has not even the smallest effect with gaining ranks. Your behaviour and maturity are the only factors along with your builds.
On trial, you have slight less mistakes to make than the other ops, due to age.
