Pixel art start up guide
« on: April 09, 2011, 08:14:28 pm »
This guide is to help you make some pixel art from pixels you may have. First off, I suggest downloading Gimp and monkeys minecraft color palette.

So, first load your image in Gimp and select monkeys palette. Then push + until you can see the individual pixels. Then find the color in minecraft. There are 32 colors in minecraft, with or without shadowing. Then you just copy each pixel into a mc block.

It's easy as that! Happy spriting,

I said it ingame ill say it here to. When you do 200x200+ sprite it is not easy as that. And those palletes work at best when the sprite is bigger than that.

I'm just trying to point out that, when you are not even able to realise that, you completely fail at the concept of spriting and should not even start it. Come on, every idiot knows that images are composed of pixels and that you will need to zoom in to see them, right?
