Suggest-a-Book
« on: December 21, 2013, 05:21:30 am »
So when I cannot play Minecraft and got disinterested in doing anything else, I like to read.

I would like you guys to suggest books, novels and whatnot that might be interesting that you had come across before. I'm looking forward to your suggestions.

But please, not books that has a lot of sequel like Harry Potter or LoTR.

Thanks for reading this post.

If you liked the hunger games books try the Legend series by Marie Lu.

1. Legend
2. Prodigy
3. Challenger

Fabelhaven was pretty good too. Lots of mythical creatures and mysteries.
If you want to try a longer series, check out the Pendragon books. Its about a kid who goes between dimensions saving the world. I was hooked.

I enjoyed Dreamsongs: Volume 1 and 2. They are the early works of George R.R. Martin, plenty of great odd stories in those. It's a collection of short stories so it's great to read one every now and then or sit down and enjoy a bunch

The Book Thief, Marcus Zusak
Trash Can Days (for a more middle-school oriented crowd), Teddy Steinkellner

What's a book?
A book is a mixture of ink, paper an glue formed together to make a story.
