Minecraft isn't "geeky" or "nerdy" or some shamful secret that isn't supposed to be revealed.  It's just a game.  Girls play video games too and most people know that.  Please don't be a stereotype believer:

Don't let the stereotypes run your life. That's not healthy.

 
Nerds aren't even real, they're just smart, different people.  My friends know I play MC and some of them play is also. I've overheard conversations about Minecraft at the library at my school and I know of this girl that plays it.  There is no shame in playing Minecraft, even if weird guys might be all over you.  Also:

Tell emm. I have that, as you said ego in school or reputation. Be yourself, almost all my friends now play it and it didn't hurt my ego or rep one bit. Tbh all my friends were looking for something fun, now we all play together.  Just depends on your friends. My school is not infested with mine craft haha.
