Protection of villages

Hello! Have you heard about 1.3 village features. :p. Well we need villages with Live villagers to use them, But for some reason people like to kill the villagers. I think some kind of code sorce should be implemented into the server for villages, so that if there is a village, an admin can lay down a protective area where no one can kill the villagers. Like myself, i'm sure most people have come accross an abounded village because someone killed all the villagers. This could be implemented off of the town protection, but with a few twiks *wink*dejected*wink*. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

you can attack a wild wolf, you can not attack a tamed wolf. so, how do you suggest we tame villages, there are far too few villages for each player on the server.

Oh yeah, I think it would be quiet easy to put some code in that allows villagers to not take dammage at all. In my second paragraph I did mention that I understood what you were saying. Sorry if it was a tad confusing. I do agree villagers should be protected in some sort of way.

We would still have an issue of people blocking up and protecting villages so no one could get in them. Maybe as an addition to the new member-world market after the update comes out, a villager-marketplace could be set up like villagers trapped on a single block by 1-high blocks surrounding them and 1 block above their head and also make it so they cant take damage. Just a suggestion this is of course assuming that trading with villagers will be an approved deal by optical after 1.3 is released.

No because if we make village trading easy, it won't be survival anymore... Put effort to find village if not buy them from people... Eg buy 2 villager make ur own village.
