Probably you are looking to wrong folder.
If you are a user of WIndows, type at start menu %appdata%.
When you, if you get the screenshot file, you have to get an account to www.photobucket.com (it's an example), and to take the second link that it provides to you when you drag the mouse on the picture while you are on view point of each album.
use the 2nd choice from the last line here in forum to use correctly the option and the screenshot.

I hope I helped..

As spam said, use the .minecraft folder in C:/ > yourwindowsusername > %AppData%/AppData > Roaming > .minecraft > screenshots

If that doesn't work, then I can give you more specific instructions based on which operating system you use.
All your mine are belong to me.

idk if this also works in sm but do it via paint you pres prt screen go to paint and do crtl+v and then it will show it in paint

ok i do it in steps
1. pres print screen buttom on your keyboard
2. go to paint
3. pres ctrl+v in paint
4. then it supposed to show the picture of your screen
5. then you can save it and upload it to photobucket
6. and then you post the link in a topic or whatever
