Disappearing loot

When I said this has yet to happen to me, I was just talking about a situation where i thought i should get items back and didnt. When i die by a creeper i pretty much assume most of my items are gone.

but I have always got everything back... Maybe I was just lucky.

exactly. Happened to me, thank god I didnt have my silk touch pick on me. lol

I don't even bring any enchanted items with me anymore because of stupid cropping creepers dropping from the sky/roof of my house

Just to give my Opinion, As far as i can tell, i have every reason to believe that it's caused by the plugin that drops your items in one pile when mining ECT.

I think i was the first person to loose 30 diamonds to this, and I'd died many a time before this plugin.
See where im coming from? still happens to me now.

i've has a similar problem.
If i die, my stuff i drop turns invisible but i can pick them up!

i heard the sound of creeper beside me, i jumped then died, later i went back there all my stuff is there... i believe disappearing items is because when the creeper blowup ur stuff is 1 sec intagible and will go through one block, if you jumped your items will appear in mid air, and drop to the ground and it will remain there. if you did not jump, the items pass through a block, they will disappear.. probaly cause by the plugin which prevent creeper from destroying blocks...

That has happened to me TWICE!!! D:  At first I simply thought that it was because I wasn't reaching my stuff in time, but since it happened on two occasions in which I made it back relatively quickly and got SOME stuff back but not all which was weird.....(I lost so many iron ores and diamonds that way @_@)

My armor and an apple stayed but things like ores, cobble, and dirt were gone.  BTW cause of death both times were creeper explosions (could the creeper explosion nullification thingy be erasing items too?)

I was there with tb at said time This is what happened: Tb was working in his WIP so I came along to help. He got creeper bombed and there was nothing but gunpowder left. He was near a ledge so I jumped off (Into water at the bottom) All I found was some XP and melons.

Its sorta been fixed. If you die, you can now see them.
Creepers destroy items but i dont really know about any other ways of dying that will cause you to lose items.
